The Khan Academy Greek Advocacy Program is dedicated to translating Khan Academy’s platform into Greek, making world-class educational resources accessible to Greek-speaking learners. In 2024 alone, our program has supported over 10,000 students and teachers, delivering more than 135,000 learning sessions. If you are fluent in Greek and English and passionate about education, we invite you to join our initiative. Our remote college prep program, powered by Khan Academy's platform, provides students with personalized support in Math, English, SAT preparation, and college guidance. Each student follows a customized learning plan with real-time online support from our dedicated educational experts. Priority enrollment is given to students from low-income families, and seats are limited. Best of all, all classes are completely free of charge.

Giorgos has been an integral part of the Khan Academy Greek team for the past five years, spearheading the translations of Khan Academy's Math content through video production, dubbing, and translating exercises and articles from English to Greek. An educator with a master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Crete, Giorgos has contributed to the majority of the K-6th grade Math content, ensuring high-quality resources for young learners. Based in Heraklion, Crete, where he also works as a private tutor. Giorgos is deeply passionate about teaching and empowering students to maximize their academic potential in high school and beyond. His dedication and expertise make him an invaluable member of the team.

Marina spearheads our social media, fundraising, and community outreach efforts, bringing creativity and strategic vision to every initiative. A senior at the University of Michigan, she is double majoring in Economics and Modern Greek (Culture and Language) with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Marina plans to attend law school after graduation, aspiring to work for the Innocence Project and, ultimately, to run for public office. Her impressive experience includes internships with the Executive Office of Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the Ann Arbor Public Defender's Office. Passionate about education, climate action, and social justice, Marina is a tireless advocate for positive change. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, painting, and diving into a good book.

Nikos has been instrumental in developing engaging video content for math and chemistry, transforming complex concepts into accessible, high-quality resources for learners of all levels. Beyond his work in education, Nikos serves his community as a volunteer firefighter, demonstrating his deep commitment to helping others. He also teaches at a tutoring center in Athens, where he helps students excel in math and science.
